In Soave, one truly feels they are in the Italy of yor, with it’s walled old town and imposing castello rising above the hills and plains below. Among those hills grow the local grape Garganega, which produces refreshing white wines of surprising depth and longevity. This one, made from organic grapes, is proudly Italian – fresh, fruity and easy to drink yet with an unmistakable character. As the (back) label says, it’s a wine for flowered terraces and summer nights. Bellissima.
