We love Portuguese wines, and not just their namesake Ports. We also mean the dry wines, made predominately with indigenous grapes unique to Portugal that display a distinct sense of place. For the whites, that often means textural wines with a warm core of fruit braced by refreshing salinity (the coast is often not far away) and a savory element that adds balance and depth. This reserve white is made from Antão Vaz, Arinto and Roupeiro. (if you can pronounce those, your Portuguese is very good!)
