Gelber Muskateller

Nikolaihof

2014 • 10.4%

Wachau, Austria

Somehow Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains (French) doesn’t have quite the same ring in German, i.e. Gelber Muskateller. Despite the mouth filing name, we cannot stop drinking this wine (which is problematic as we only got one case), since it’s from our favorite ultra traditional Austrian producer Nikolaihof (think lots of lederhosen) and it’s ridiculously low in alcohol (translation we can drink an entire bottle). It’s subtle yet profound, evocative, bone dry and fresh with a beguiling bit of age.

DEEP, DRY, DELIGHTFULLY DRINKABLE
