Small family Domaine Amido, famous for their Tavel rosé, also makes earthy, heart-warming reds from a preponderous of Grenache, plus Syrah and Mourvedre. Their Côtes-du-Rhône is forward and fruity, yet with and underlying seriousness that helps it to resemble their much more expensive Lirac. The perfect wine for cold nights and spot of charcuterie.
